Are your food-grade jute bags tested for MOSH and MOAH?
Yes. Our 100% vegetable oil treated (VOT) jute bags are tested by the Indian Jute Industries' Research Association (IJIRA), Kolkata, under BfR Method 2009 (SPE-GC-FID). The official report reference is IJIRA/CBPD/Analytical/TSR-195/2026-27, available for download on this page.
What does "food-grade jute bag" mean for international export?
A food-grade jute bag is processed exclusively with food-safe vegetable oil rather than mineral-based batching oil. This prevents mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOSH and MOAH) from migrating into food commodities like cocoa, green coffee beans, hazelnuts, and grains.
